Our Story

만남부터 지금까지

From the first hello to forever

보스턴과 서울, 두 도시를 오가며 쌓아온 사랑입니다. 시차와 거리를 견디며, 이 모든 것이 더 큰 계획의 일부라 믿으며 달려왔습니다. 1년여의 장거리 끝에 드디어 SF 베이지역에 함께 자리 잡았고, 이제 발리의 하늘 아래에서 하나가 됩니다. 여기까지 이끌어 준 모든 것에 감사하며, 소중한 분들과 함께할 수 있어 기쁩니다.

Ours is a love built across two cities and many time zones. Boston and Seoul, late-night calls and long flights, trusting that the distance was part of a bigger plan. After a year of long-distance, we finally found our home together in the Bay Area. We're grateful for every step that led us here, and so glad you're with us to celebrate.

Jimbaran · Our most-loved restaurant in Bali! Jimbaran is famous for seafood, but hygiene concerns kept us from the beachside spots — and we found this gem instead. Signature dishes include Betutu Duck and Beef Ribs. We had the seafood BBQ and satay — both beyond expectations, the outdoor garden is stunning, and the local cocktails were an unexpected highlight. Ask for a recommendation!

Canggu · Local Indonesian cuisine in a fine dining setting. The satay with multiple sauces and the chicken dishes are outstanding. The Beef Rendang and Nasi Campur also come highly rated — well worth trying. Impressive cocktail menu, and save room for the fruit bowl — it's delicious and plenty enough for two.

Canggu · A lively BBQ spot with great vibes. We loved the fish BBQ with rice, paired with a cold beer. The beef brisket and pork ribs are crowd favorites — highly recommended. Live music in the evening makes it the perfect way to end a Canggu day.

Ubud · A perfect refuge for tired Ubud explorers. We ducked in for coffee during a city tour and instantly fell for the smooth, laid-back vibe. The coffee, drinks, and cocktails were all beyond expectations — and the food was a lovely surprise too. Being a brunch spot, it's also great for a light, easy meal. If your feet need a break, this is where to go. Also a Canggu location available. Note: closes at 2 PM!

What is the dress code?

세미 포멀입니다. 열대 기후이므로 가볍고 통기성 좋은 소재를 추천합니다. 야외 행사이니 굽이 낮은 신발이 편합니다.

Semi-formal. We recommend light, breathable fabrics given the tropical heat. The ceremony is outdoors, so lower heels are practical on the grounds.

8월 발리 날씨는 어떤가요?

What's the weather like in August?

8월은 발리의 건기로 평균 27°C, 습도가 낮아 쾌적합니다. 저녁에는 약간 선선하니 가벼운 겉옷을 챙기세요.

August is Bali's dry season — warm and pleasant at around 27°C (80°F) with low humidity. A light layer for the evening is nice to have.
